vyabhicārāt tu bhartur vai narmadādyāsu dhiṣṇiṣu /
utpannāḥ śucayaḥ putrāḥ sarve te dhiṣṇyapāḥ smṛtāḥ //
by moving through the Dhiṣṇīs headed by the Narmadā as their husband, / engendered pure sons; all of them are remembered as guardians of the hearth-fires.
