śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gaccheddharādhīśa loṭaṇeśvaram uttamam /
uttare narmadākūle sarvapātakanāśanam //

Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go, O ruler of the earth, to the excellent Loṭaṇeśvara / on the northern bank of the Narmadā, which destroys all sins.
