yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
āścaryabhūtaṃ lokeṣu narmadācaritaṃ mahat /
tvayā vai kathitaṃ vipra sakalaṃ pāpanāśanam //

Yudhiṣṭhira said: / Wondrous in the worlds is the great history of the Narmadā, / destroying all sin, which you have indeed related, O vipra.
