pāpakarmā tato jñātvā pāpaṃ me pūrvasaṃcitam /
snātvā tīrthavare tasmindānaṃ dadyād yathāvidhi //
Then, the doer of evil actions, realizing, 'My sin has been accumulated previously,' / having bathed in that best of pilgrimage places, should give gifts according to the rule.
