vidyāvidye tvatta evāvirāstāṃ dharmādharmau sadasad dyurniśe ca /
nānābhāvāñjagatastvaṃ vidhatses taṃ tvāmekaṃ śaraṇaṃ vai prapadye //

Knowledge and ignorance arose from you alone, righteousness and unrighteousness, being and non-being, day and night; / you ordain the manifold states of the universe; to you, the one, I go for refuge.
