evamuktaḥ sa vidhinā hṛṣṭatuṣṭaḥ khagottamaḥ /
tathetyuktvā jagāmāśu narmadātīramuttamam //

Addressed thus by the Creator, that best of birds, joyful and contented, / saying 'So be it,' went quickly to the excellent bank of the Narmadā.
