stuvannekamanā devaṃ na dainyaṃ prāpnuyāt kvacit /
śrāddhaṃ dīpapradānaṃ ca brāhmaṇānāṃ ca bhojanam /
dattvā śaktyā nṛpaśreṣṭha svargaloke mahīyate //

Praising the god with a single mind, he would never suffer distress anywhere. / Having offered funeral rites, the gift of a lamp, and food to Brahmins, / according to his capacity, O best of kings, he is honored in heaven.
