mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tataḥ krośāntare pārtha vāsavaṃ tīrthamuttamam /
vasubhiḥ sthāpitaṃ tatra sthitvā vai dvādaśābdakam //
Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then, at a distance of a krośa, O Pāṇḍava, is the excellent Vāsava pilgrimage place, / established by the Vasus after staying there for twelve years.
