cakame tena doṣeṇa kuṣṭharogārdito 'bhavat /
sa cāpyatra tapastaptvā vimalatvam upāgataḥ //

his daughter Bhānumatī; because of that fault, he became afflicted with leprosy. / And he too, having performed austerity here, attained purity;
