asminmahāmohamaye kaṭāhe sūryāgninā rātridivendhanena /
māsartudarvīparighaṭṭanena bhūtāni kālaḥ pacatīti vārtā //
In this great pot of delusion, with the fire of the sun, using nights and days as firewood,
and stirring with the ladle of months and seasons, Time cooks living beings: such is the news.
