aśraddhayā hutaṃ dattaṃ tapastaptaṃ kṛtaṃ ca yat /
asadityucyate pārtha na ca tatpretya no iha //
What is offered in fire, given, what austerity is practiced, or whatever is done without faith
is called 'unreal', O son of Pṛthā; it is of no account either after death or here.
