iṣṭabandhūṃśca viṣṇuṃ ca śaṅkaraṃ sagaṇeśvaram /
vrajeddvijābhyanujñāto gṛhītvā niyamānapi //

and of his dear kin, of Viṣṇu, and of Śaṅkara together with the lord of Gaṇas,
he should set out with the permission of brahmins, also having undertaken the observances:
