yojane yojane gatvā caturviṃśatiyojanam /

A kṛcchra penance is declared to yield fourfold [fruit] at Śuklatīrtha, O Yudhiṣṭhira. / Going yojana by yojana up to twenty-four yojanas, / whoever dwells here and there for a very long time, O best of rulers,
