mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
śṛṇu pāṇḍava vakṣyāmi pramāṇaṃ yojanasya yat /
tathā yātrāviśeṣeṇa viśeṣaṃ kṛcchrasambhavam //
Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Listen, O Pāṇḍava, I will tell that which is the measure of a yojana, / as well as the special [fruit] arising from kṛcchra by virtue of pilgrimage.
