vitastidvitayaṃ hastaścaturhastaṃ dhanuḥ smṛtam /
sa eva daṇḍo gadito viśeṣajñair yudhiṣṭhira //
Two spans are a cubit, and four cubits are traditionally known as a bow; / that indeed is called a staff by those who know the distinctions, O Yudhiṣṭhira.
