yasmiṃstīrthe hi yatproktaṃ phalaṃ kṛcchrādikaṃ nṛpa /
tatrāpyupoṣaṇāt kṛcchraphalaṃ prāpnotyathādhikam //
Indeed, whatever fruit, such as a kṛcchra, is proclaimed at a given pilgrimage place, O king, / by fasting there as well one obtains even more than the fruit of a kṛcchra.
