evaṃ tu kapilā caiva viśalyā rājasattama /
īśvareṇa purā sṛṣṭā lokānāṃ hitakāmyayā //

Thus the Kapilā and the Viśalyā, O best of kings, / were created in ancient times by Īśvara through the desire for the welfare of the worlds.
