trayāṇāmapi lokānāṃ mahatī pāvanī smṛtā /
yatra tatra mṛtasyāpi dhruvaṃ gāṇeśvarī gatiḥ //
She is remembered as the great purifier of even the three worlds. / Even for one who has died anywhere [on her banks], the destination belonging to the lords of the Gaṇas is certain.
