sūta uvāca:
ityuktvopararāmatha pāṇḍoḥ putrāya vai muniḥ /
mṛkaṇḍatanayo dhīmānsaptakalpasmaraḥ puraḥ //

Sūta said: / Having spoken thus to the son of Pāṇḍu, the sage, / the wise son of Mṛkaṇḍu who remembers seven cosmic ages, then paused in front [of him].
