tīrthamoṃkāramārabhya vakṣye tīrthāvaliṃ śubhām /
procyamānāṃ samāsena tāṃ śṛṇudhvaṃ maharṣayaḥ //
beginning from the pilgrimage place of Oṃkāra, I shall declare the auspicious series of pilgrimage places; / listen to it, O great sages, as it is being proclaimed in summary.
