sūta uvāca:
iti vaḥ kathitaṃ viprā revāmāhātmyamuttamam /
yathopadiṣṭaṃ pārthāya mārkaṇḍeyena vai purā //

Sūta said: / Thus has been narrated to you, O brāhmaṇas, the supreme glorification of the Revā, / just as it was taught of old to the son of Pṛthā by Mārkaṇḍeya.
