tadvanmṛkaṇḍatanayo 'pyanubhūyākhilāṃ nadīm /
satīrthāṃ padaśaḥ prāha pāṇḍuputrāya pāvanīm //
Likewise, the son of Mṛkaṇḍu too, having experienced the entire purifying river / with its pilgrimage places, step by step, proclaimed it to the son of Pāṇḍu.
