yatphalaṃ sarvavedaiśca saṣaḍaṅgapadakramaiḥ /
śrutaiśca paṭhitaistasmātphalamaṣṭaguṇaṃ bhavet //
Whatever fruit is attained through all the Vedas heard and recited / along with the six auxiliary disciplines, word-divisions, and recited sequences, eight times that fruit would be obtained.
