etatpavitramatulaṃ hyetatpāpaharaṃ param /
narmadācaritaṃ puṇyaṃ māhātmyaṃ munibhāṣitam //
This is peerlessly pure, this removes supreme sin— / the meritorious deeds of the Narmadā, the glorification spoken by the sage.
