bhuktotthitau tu viśrāmya śayyāsu ca kṣamāpayet /
gurumūlaṃ yataḥ sarvaṃ gururjñeyo maheśvaraḥ //
Having rested after rising from eating, he should beg their pardon on the beds. / For everything has the guru as its root, and the guru is to be known as Maheśvara.
