asti ghoro mahāvīryo dānavo baladarpitaḥ /
bāṇo nāmeti vikhyāto yasya tattripuraṃ mahat //
“There is a fierce dānava of great valor, arrogant with power, / renowned by the name Bāṇa, to whom belongs that great Tripura.
