tatheti tāmanujñāpya nārado nṛpasattama /
sarvāsāṃ mānasaṃ hṛtvā anyataḥ kṛtamānasaḥ //

Saying "So be it," and taking leave of her, O best of kings, Nārada, / Having carried off the minds of them all, turned his mind elsewhere.
