tilasaṃmiśratoyena tarpayet pitṛdevatāḥ /
piṇḍadānena ca pitḥn paiṇḍarīkaphalaṃ labhet //
one should offer libations to the ancestral spirits and the deities with water mixed with sesame seeds;
and by the gift of ancestral cakes to the ancestors, one obtains the fruit of a puṇḍarīka sacrifice.
