kāveryāḥ pūrvabhāge ca tīrthaṃ vai mātṛkeśvaram //
and the pilgrimage place of Ambarīṣa, and likewise Mahākāleśvara,
and on the eastern side of the Kāverī is the pilgrimage place Mātṛkeśvara.
