28.64

evamanye 'pi ye keciddānavā baladarpitāḥ /
teṣāṃ gṛhe tathā vahnirjvalate nirdayo nṛpa /
dahyamānāḥ striyastāta vilapanti gṛhe gṛhe //

Thus of those other Dānavas as well, who were arrogant with strength—
in their houses likewise, O king, fire blazed mercilessly;
being burned, dear child, the women lamented in house after house.
