parākeṇānayatkālaṃ kṛcchreṇāpi ca mānada /
cāndrāyaṇena cāpyanyamanyaṃ vāyvambubhojanaḥ //

He passed the time with the parāka penance, and also with the kṛcchra penance, O giver of honor; / and another time with the cāndrāyaṇa penance, and another time feeding on wind and water.
