so 'pi snātvā vidhānena saṃtarpya pitṛdevatāḥ /
āmantrayitvā tattīrthaṃ kṛtārthaśca gṛhaṃ yayau //

He too, having bathed according to rule and gratified the ancestors and deities, / taking leave of that pilgrimage place, went home fulfilled.
