30.1

śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
narmadottarakūle tu dārutīrthamanuttamam /
yatra siddho mahābhāga tapastaptvā dvijottamaḥ //

Glorious Mārkaṇḍeya said: / On the northern bank of the Narmadā, however, is the unexcelled Dārutīrtha, / where, O fortunate one, the best among twice-born performed austerities and attained perfection.
