prāṇāṃs tyajati yo martyas tasmiṃstīrthe vidhānataḥ /
anivartikā gatistasya ityevaṃ śaṅkaro 'bravīt //
Whatever mortal gives up his life-breaths at that pilgrimage place according to rule, / his is a destination with no return; so Śaṅkara has declared.

|| iti śrīskānde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ pañcama āvantyakhaṇḍe revākhaṇḍe dārutīrthamāhātmyavarṇanaṃ nāma triṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ ||
