rājovāca:
bhavatāṃ tasya vā kāryaṃ devasya vacanaṃ hṛdi /
samayaṃ kartum icchāmi kanyādāne hyanuttamam //
The king said: / "Your word or the word of that god must be taken to heart; / I wish to make an unsurpassed agreement regarding the gift of a maiden."
