brāhmaṇa uvāca:
yadi tuṣṭo 'si me deva deyo yadi varo mama /
uttare narmadākūle sadā saṃnihito bhava //

The brāhmaṇa said:
"If you are pleased with me, O god, if a boon is to be given to me,
be always present on the northern bank of the Narmadā."
