yatphalaṃ sattrayajñena tadbhavennātra saṃśayaḥ /
tena dvādaśavarṣāṇi pitaraḥ saṃpratarpitāḥ //
the fruit that comes from a sacrificial session, that shall be [his], without doubt;
by him the ancestors are satisfied for twelve years.
