yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:
kathaṃ tāta surāḥ sarve dānavairbalavattaraiḥ /
nirjitāstatra tīrthe ca snātvā siddhiṃ parāṃ gatāḥ //
Yudhiṣṭhira said: / How, O father, were all the gods defeated by mightier dānavas, / and how, having bathed at that pilgrimage place, did they attain supreme perfection?
