tāvat te brāhmaṇāḥ sarve bhramitvā kānanaṃ mahat /
āgatāḥ svagṛhe dārān dadṛśuś ca hataujasaḥ //
Meanwhile all those brahmins, having wandered through the great forest, / returned to their homes and saw their wives drained of vigor.
