evaṃ satyaprabhāvena triruktena dvijanmanām /
śivasya paśyato liṅgaṃ patitaṃ dharaṇītale //
Thus, by the power of truth uttered thrice by the twice-born, / Śiva's liṅga fell upon the earth's surface before his very eyes.
