yataḥ kṣobhādṛṣīṇāṃ ca tadevaṃ liṅgamuttamam /
patitaṃ te mahādeva na tatpūjyaṃ bhaviṣyati //

Because of the agitation of the sages, this excellent liṅga of yours / has fallen, O Mahādeva, and it would not be worshipped [otherwise].
