mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
śṛṇu vakṣye'dya te rājankapilātīrthamuttamam /
yena te vismayaḥ sarvaḥ śrutvā gacchati bhārata //
Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Listen, O king, today I shall tell you of the excellent Kapilātīrtha, / hearing which, O Bhārata, all your wonder will vanish.
