ṛkṣaśailaṃ samāruhya tapastepe sudāruṇam /
adṛśyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ sarvabhūtātmako vaśī //
Ascending the Ṛkṣa mountain, he practiced terrible austerities, / invisible to all beings, the self of all beings, master of his senses.
