Revākhaṇḍa (Vāyupurāṇa) 4.38

dakṣiṇaṃ kūlamāśritya ye dvijā dharmavatsalāḥ /
ā mṛtyor nivasiṣyanti te gatāḥ pitṛmandire //
Those twice-born who love righteousness, who, resorting to the southern bank,
shall dwell until death, they go to the abode of the ancestors.
