prātar anveṣayāmāsa munirvastramitastataḥ /
tataḥ sā brāhmaṇī prāha kiṃ anveṣayase prabho /
kena kāryaṃ tava tathā vadasva mama tattvataḥ //
In the morning, the sage searched for the cloth here and there. / Then that brahmin woman said, 'What are you searching for, O lord? / What need do you have, and of what kind? Tell me the truth.'
