42.28

tato jñātvā mahadbhūtaṃ kṣudhāviṣṭaṃ dvijarṣabham /
na jahāti nagaśchāyāṃ pānārthāya tataḥ param /
apibacca sutaṃ tasmādabhṛtaṃ caiva bhārata //

Then, knowing the bull among brahmins to be a great being overcome by hunger, / the tree did not withdraw its shade thereafter, and for the sake of drink, / he drank the sap from it, and was sustained, O Bhārata.
