mantrayanti ca yāvad vai tāvaccāramukheritam /
jñātvā tatra sa devaughaṃ dānavo nirgato gṛhāt //
Even while they were taking counsel, having learned through the mouth of a spy
that the host of gods was there, the Dānava departed from his home.
