tena devagaṇāḥ sarve dhvastāḥ pārthivasattama /
saṃgrāme vividhaiḥ śastraiś cakravajrādibhirghanaiḥ //
All the hosts of gods were crushed by him, O best of kings,
in battle with various dense weapons, such as discus, thunderbolt, and others.
