dvandvayuddhaṃ kariṣyāmi niścitya yuyudhe nṛpa /
sa kṛṣṇena padākṣiptaḥ patitaḥ pṛthivītale //

"I will fight a hand-to-hand duel"; having resolved thus, he fought, O king. / He was hurled with a foot by Kṛṣṇa and fell onto the surface of the earth.
