viṣṇuvākyādasau pāpo gato yatra maheśvaraḥ /
kailāsaśikharaṃ prāpya dhunoti sma muhurmuhuḥ //

By Viṣṇu’s word, that wicked one went where Maheśvara was; / having reached the peak of Kailāsa, he shook it again and again.
